…one year in the making.

Being in a band is hard. It’s hard on your friends, your family, your shoes, your wallet, your head. It’s selfish because everyone around you has to accept that sometimes you disappear for a while, accept that you’re broke, and accept that you don’t have a “real job”.

We’ve all been in previous bands, and are no longer in them for whatever reasons. None of that mattered after the 7th February 2011. We spent a year finding what we wanted to do, playing up and down the country. and finding our feet. 

Now it’s time to make a record. 

The music industry today is in pieces; we all know that. But, slowly and surely everyone is picking these pieces up, and what matters are the people that are doing it. These people are all of us, and by that we don’t just mean us in bands, we mean you. 

You are the people that understand that music has a value.

The people playing music now are doing it as because it is an art form, the people releasing it are doing it because it’s their passion, the people listening to it and buying it are the people that want to build their scene back up, and the people that are going to see it live are the people that wouldn’t want to be anywhere else apart from at a show with their friends. 

To our friends… thank you for being here the past year.

We’re celebrating our first year as a band on the 7th February 2012 with a Free show at The Well in Leeds for anyone who would like to join us. For anyone that can’t make it we’ll make sure we have something online available for you soon.
